Qatar’s Boularas finishes fifth in World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships

Seoul: Qatar’s Othman Boularas finished fifth in the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships held in South Korea, with the participation of 64 countries.

Boularas participated in the under-40 category.

Boularas is now preparing to participate in the Asian Taekwondo Championships to be hosted by South Korea next June, and also to participate in the Asian Games in China next September.

The Qatari won two bronze medals in the World Taekwondo Martial Arts Championship (Poomsae), and the World Taekwondo Championship (Poomsae 3 Challenge), organized by the International Federation last November.

He previously won a gold at the World Beach Championship 2018 in Greece, bronze in 2019 Asian Championship in Indonesia, and a bronze at the Asian Championship in Lebanon 2020.
