Qatar SC dominate as Abdul Wahab claims table tennis singles and doubles titles
DOHA: The curtain fell on the 2025-26 men’s singles and doubles table tennis championships on Thursday at the Ras Abu Aboud Training and Development Center, with players from clubs across Qatar taking part.
Qatar Club’s Mohammed Abdul Wahab clinched the men’s singles title after beating Rawad Akram Al Nasser of Al Arabi Club 3-1 in the final.
Al Nasser finished runner-up, while Youssef Abdul Zaher of Al Khor and Abdullah Abdul Wahab of Al Sadd shared third place.
In the men’s doubles competition, the Qatar Club pairing of Mohammed Abdul Wahab and Sultan Al Kuwari secured the title with a straight-games 3-0 victory over Al Rayyan’s Fahad Al Mughni and Abdulaziz Nasser Al Abdullah in the final.
The Al Rayyan duo finished second, while Al Arabi’s German Smith and Rawad Akram Al Nasser, alongside Al Khor’s Youssef Abdul Zaher and Khaled Mohammed Al Yafei, shared third place.
