Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Khor, and Al Sadd reach HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup semifinals
DOHA: Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Khor, and Al Sadd have secured their spots in the semifinals of the 2024-2025 HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup after winning their quarterfinal matches at Al Arabi SC Hall.
Defending champions Al Arabi booked their place with a 3-1 victory over Al Ahli, while Al Khor overcame Al Shamal by the same margin. Qatar SC also registered a 3-1 win against Al Rayyan. Meanwhile, Al Sadd delivered a dominant performance, sweeping Al Gharafa 3-0.
The semifinals, set for Monday at Al Arabi SC Hall, will see Qatar SC take on Al Sadd, while Al Arabi will face Al Khor for a place in the final.
Today’s matches were overseen by Ali Sultan Al Muftah, Assistant Secretary of the Qatar Table Tennis Association and Chair of the Competition Committee. Al Arabi, who claimed their sixth title last season, will look to defend their crown as the tournament heads toward an exciting conclusion.(QNA)
