Qatar Classic Squash Championships: Qatar’s Al Tamimi goes down in third round

DOHA: Eighth seed Tarek Momen of Egypt beat Abdulla Mohammad Al Tamimi of Qatar on Tuesday to qualify for the last eight stage at the Qatar Classic Squash Championships.

Momen overcame Al Tamimi, ranked 23rd in the world, 11-8, 12-10, 7-11, 11-8 in 53 minutes.

Earlier, Al Tamimi beat Egypt’s Omar Massad, world No. 29, 12-10, 11-4, 11-5 to qualify for the third round.

Qatar’s Abdullah Al Tamimi continued his successful career at after he qualified for the last eight stage.

The contest lasted for 32 minutes.
