Aspire Academy athletes excel at Slovenian Junior Squash Open 2025

DOHA: Aspire Academy’s student-athletes showcased their growing prowess on the international stage by securing podium finishes in three age categories at the Slovenian Junior Squash Open 2025.
The tournament featured talented young players from around the world, but Aspire’s athletes stood out with impressive performances. Talal Al Badr claimed the under-15 title after a thrilling match against fellow Aspire student Omar Farag.
In the under-17 category, Ali Ouda earned a commendable runner-up finish, while Hassan Alian achieved the same feat in the under-13s. Abdulla Al-Sharshani narrowly missed a podium finish, placing fourth in the under-13s after a close semi-final loss.
Aspire Academy’s Senior Squash Coach Francesco Busi praised the players’ dedication and performance. “I am extremely happy with the group for their effort and the results they produced. They have trained very hard over the past months, and I am pleased to see their hard work rewarded with such great performances. This is a fantastic achievement for Aspire Academy,” he stated.
