Qatar’s 2025 World Snooker Championship earns praise from ISF President

DOHA: The President of the International Snooker Federation, Mubarak Al Khayarin, hailed the 2025 World Snooker Championship in Qatar as a “complete success,” praising both the technical standards and overall organisation of the event.

Al Khayarin highlighted Qatar’s growing reputation for hosting major international sporting events, pointing to flawless coordination across accommodations, logistics, and match operations. He also celebrated the achievements of Qatari star Ali Al Obaidli, whose impressive run to the final and second-place finish marked one of the tournament’s standout stories.
