Pakistan win IBSF World Team Cup

Doha, Qatar: Pakistan defeated India 3-1 to win the second IBSF World Team Cup snooker in Doha on Tuesday.
In the final played at the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation Academy Hall, Pakistan team comprising Mohamed Bilal and Asjad Iqbal defeated India’s India’s Pankaj Advani and Laxman Rawat.
Advani and Rawat had finished second best to Pakistan’s Zulfiqar Qadir and Babar Masih in the Asian Team Snooker Championship final last week.
On Tuesday, Bilal put Pakistan ahead after getting the better of Advani 64-11 and Iqbal made it 2-0 with a victory against Rawat.
Advani and Rawat managed to come back in doubles with a 79-23 win but Iqbal defeated Advani to seal the title for Pakistan.
Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation President Mohamed Mubarak Al Ramzani and International Billiards and Snooker Federation President Mubarak Al Khayarin presented the trophies to the winners.
