Qatar’s Rashid Al Athba wins gold in skeet at 15th Asian Shooting Championships

DOHA: Qatar ace rifle shooter Rashid Al Athba won gold in the skeet event at the 15th Asian Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Korea, on Wednesday.

Al Athba, who has already secured a quota for Qatar at the 2024 Paris Olympics, shot 53 out of 60 targets to finish on top in the final.

South Korea’s Kim Minshu shot 51/60 for silver, while Chinese Taipei’s Yuan Lee Meng won bronze with a score of 42/50.
