Qatar’s marksmen shine in Neshan Ramadan Shooting Tournament

DOHA: Qatar’s national shooting team delivered outstanding performances at the ongoing Neshan Ramadan Shooting Tournament, held at the Lusail Shooting Range Complex under the patronage of HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani. Organized in collaboration with the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation (QSAF), the tournament has witnessed intense competition across all categories.

In the professional category, Osama Al Shaiba claimed gold in the 10-meter pistol event, followed by Abdullah Al Obaidli with silver and Doaa Rahmatullah with bronze. The 10-meter rifle competition saw Ali Al Mahandi secure gold, Abdulrahman Al Sulaity win silver, and Maha Al Ali take bronze.

Maha Abdulhaye dominated the Olympic archery event, earning gold, while Ahmed Al Sada and Suleiman Abu Taima took silver and bronze, respectively. In the mixed Olympic archery competition, Maha Abdulhaye and Ahmed Al Sada emerged victorious with gold, while Reem Al Saai and Suleiman Abu Taima secured silver.

The compound archery competition saw Aisha Al Saai win gold, Hamad Al-Yafei take silver, and Aisha Al-Azzazi claim bronze. In the skeet shooting category, Rashid Saleh Al Athba triumphed with gold, followed by Saeed Abu Sharb with silver and Masoud Saleh Al Athba with bronze.(QNA)
