Abujbara wins bronze at Arab Rowing Championship

Doha: Qatar's Tala Abujbara won bronze in the women's singles event at the 12th Arab Rowing Championships in Tunisia.

Abujbara had shown promise by winning the title at the GCC Rowing Championship in Doha recently and she backed it up with a stupendous performance in Tunis, where she finished behind host nation’s Khadija Karimi and Amina Roba of Algeria.

Sailors from eight countries — Qatar, Algeria, Djibouti, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Sudan and hosts Tunisia participated in the event.
