Qatar rise to 24th in world volleyball rankings after Asian Championship bronze

DOHA: The Qatari national volleyball team has climbed to 24th in the world rankings, as per the latest update from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). This rise follows their strong showing at the 5th edition of the 2025 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, which concluded on Tuesday in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Qatar secured the bronze medal after a dominant straight-sets victory over South Korea (25-21, 25-20, 25-23) in the third-place match. The performance earned the team 154.59 points in the FIVB rankings.
Poland continue to top the global standings with 408.95 points, with France in second place at 361.35 points.
