Qatar beat Oman in Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship

Tehran, Iran: Qatar defeated Oman opponents in straight sets in the 9-12 placement match at the Asian Senior Men's Volleyball Championship in Iran's capital of Tehran.

Qatar had failed to progress into the last eight but they were impressive on Tuesday to secure deserving victory (25-18,25-20 and 25-16). 

A total of 16 teams are competing in the competition in which the top eight teams qualify for the AVC Men's Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament in Jiangmen, China from January 7 to 12.
