Top stars for Qatar Total Open
Doha: The who’s who of women’s tennis including world No 1 Simona Halep, second-ranked Caroline Wozniacki, No.3 Garbine Muguruza, fast-rising Elina Svitolina evergreen Venus Williams, defending champion Karolina Pliskova and Russian star Maria Sharapova will participate in the 2018 Qatar Total Open to be held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex from February 12-18.
Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Al Zainal said Jelena Ostapenko, Caroline Garcia, Johanna Konta, and Coco Vandeweghe have also confirmed their participation.
Director of the competition Saad Al Mohannadi said that the organizing committee is ready to host one of the strongest tournaments in the region for women's tennis.
