QTF plans new stadium

The Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) is planning to build a new retractable-roof stadium with a capacity of 12,000 seats. With top players coming to Doha every year, the present 7,000-seater Khalifa International Complex is finding it difficult to meet the huge demand for tickets. The QTF also plans to elevate the tournament’s profile from the current ATP World Tour 250 Series to a bigger one.
