Qatar sports minister meets FIA President in Paris

DOHA: Qatar's Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali met FIA President Jean Todt in Paris on Tuesday.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed.

The minister also participated in the activities of the Consultative Forum of Ministers of Culture, held during the General Conference of the 40th Session under the title “Culture and Public Policies for Sustainable Development.”

During a session of the General Conference, the Qatari minister said, “We must jointly review the causes that have prevented peace in the world and strive towards achieving human dignity, which sees culture as a safety valve for freedom and justice.”

FIA chief Todt also hosted a special dinner in honour of HE Salah bin Ghanem al Ali.

QMMF President Abdulrahman al Mannai was also present on the occasion.
