Qatar Digital Motorsports Championship: Qatar’s Al Maraghi takes top honours in second round

DOHA: Qatar’s Khalid Al Maraghi took the top honours in the second round of the Qatar Digital Motorsports Championship on Tuesday.

The competition, which features a total six rounds, is organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF).

Al Maragi completed the race in 18:04.315 seconds, and also collected 25 points for his efforts.

Defending champion Ahmed El Khoully, who finished first in the opening round, came second (+01.321).

But El Khoully still leads the championship tally with 43 points in the virtual race played on Gran Turismo Sport game on PlayStation 4.

Sheikh Soud Jassim Al Thani finished third (+02.351) followed by Faesal Alyafei (+05.436).

The remaining four rounds will continue after Eid.
