Public can have real fun at Losail Circuit Club

THE Losail Circuit Sports Club (LCSC), which was formed to efficiently carry out the Qatar Motorsport and Motorsport Federation’s (QMMF) operations at the state-of-the-art facility, is making its presence felt.
In addition to hosting motor sports events, the club has encouraged community activities in karting, cycling, running and walking.
LCSC General Manager Khalid Al Remaihi wants everyone, not just the motor sports professionals, to use the facility.
“The QMMF does the planning and we execute it professionally. We want to make this facility more enjoyable for all people. They should come, have fun and relate to it. It’s part of our corporate social responsibility,” said Al Remaihi.
The official, who called the launch of Qatar Superstock and Qatar Touring Car Championships as a significant development in the club’s history, hoped it would help unearth the next generation of talents.
“In the official tests we did recently, it was quite evident that there was no dearth of talent. The equipment is the same and so too is the support given to everybody. We’re quite excited about the championships’ future. I hope we’ll be able to deliver on the promises.
“One thing I noticed was the enthusiasm shown by the participants. They took the initiative to study the regulations and share them with their fellow competitors to get them involved. It bodes well for the championship’s success,” said Al Remaihi.
