Ahmed Al Muhannadi honored after Formula 3 triumph in TopJet F2.0 trophy
ROME: Qatari driver Ahmed Shahin Al Muhannadi was honored at the awards ceremony for the 9th edition of the TopJet F2.0 Formula Trophy 2024 season, held recently at Italy’s Tazio Nuvolari Circuit. Al Muhannadi secured the overall gold category title in Formula 3, capping off a dominant season.
Among 12 drivers recognized across various categories, Al Muhannadi stood out after clinching six victories in the eight-race championship. He topped the overall standings with 250 points, finishing just ahead of Italian Edoardo Bonanomi (242 points), while Giancarlo Benedetti took third with 191.2 points.
Reflecting on his success, Al Muhannadi described the achievement as a milestone in his career. He also revealed that he has earned an opportunity to compete in the prestigious American IndyCar Series, a crucial step toward global motorsports prominence.
