Bryan suspended by PGA Tour after LIV Golf appearance

KENTUCKY: Wesley Bryan has been suspended by the PGA Tour for competing in a LIV Golf-backed event two weeks ago, according to a report from Monday Q. The 35-year-old golfer revealed he is unsure of the suspension’s duration but plans to pursue the tour’s appeals process.
The PGA Tour has not issued an official statement on the matter. Bryan, who no longer holds full tour status, is currently attending but not playing in the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic. It’s the same event where he finished runner-up last year. Meanwhile, the RBC Heritage — the tournament he famously won in 2017 for his only PGA Tour victory — is taking place this week.
In 2025, Bryan has participated in three PGA Tour events, missing two cuts and placing tied for 25th at the Farmers Insurance Open. He currently sits 169th in the FedExCup standings with $75,068 in earnings this season.
Bryan, alongside his brother George, has gained a strong online following through their golf-themed YouTube channel, featuring trick shots and behind-the-scenes content. He also took part in two PGA Tour influencer events over the past year.
