QVC win Gulf Lights second division title

Doha, Qatar: QVC defeated Gulf Lights by three wickets to win the third Gulf Lights Cricket tournament Division II title at Losail Cricket Complex.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Gulf Lights made 143 for eight wickets in 20 overs. Niyamat (23 runs), Hussain (25) and Arshad (28) shone for Gulf Lights while Rameez was QVC's best bowler with three wickets. Fauzan and Haleem took two wickets each.
In reply, QVC reached the target in 18.4 overs as man of the match Fouzan top-scored with 36. Anam (20) Samir (28) Tabish (13) and Haleem (14) also made useful contributions. For Gulf Lights, Zoheb and Murshid took two wickets each.
Chief guest Seema Mubin – Technical Director of Gulf Lights, guests of honour Dr Mubin of PHCC and Abid of Gems Wellington School distributed the prizes.
