Pakistan 316/7 at stumps; Bangladesh need 3 more wickets to complete 2-0 sweep

Sylhet: Pakistan were 316 runs for the loss of seven wickets, but still needs 121 runs to win the match at the end of the fourth day’s play in the second and final Test match against Bangladesh on Tuesday.

The fourth day of play began with Pakistani openers Azan Owais and Abdullah Fazal, but Abdullah Fazal was dismissed for six runs by Naheed Rana for a combined score of 27.

After him, Azan Owais also returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 21 runs for a combined score of 41.

After the loss of two wickets, Babar Azam and captain Shan Masood built a good partnership, but Babar Azam fell victim to Tejul Islam after scoring 47 runs off 52 balls, while Shan Masood was dismissed after scoring 71 runs.

After Shan Masood was dismissed, Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan batted well, but Shan was also dismissed by Tejul Islam, who had scored 71 runs.

When the fourth day’s play ended on Tuesday, Muhammad Rizwan was batting on 75 and Sajid Khan was on eight runs.
