Oman beat UAE by five wickets to win Gulf T20 Cricket title

DOHA: Oman beat UAE by five wickets on Saturday night to win the inaugural Gulf T20 Cricket Championship here at the Asian Town Stadium.
The tournament also featured hosts Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
The top teams qualified for the final showdown. Qatar finished third.
UAE won the toss and decided to bat first, but the start was not that impressive as they had hoped so. They had put up 163 for the loss of 5 wickets.
In their run chase, Oman completed the target with four balls to spare in their innings.
