New Zealand dismiss Pakistan for 227 in first Test
Abu Dhabi, UAE: Left-arm paceman Neil Wagner became the eighth New Zealand bowler to complete 150 Test wickets on the second day of the opening Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
The 32-year-old dismissed Pakistan's tail-ender Yasir Shah for nine just before tea to reach the milestone in his 37th Test match for his adopted country.
Pakistan, resuming at 59-2, were dismissed for 227 in their first innings.
Babar Azam top-scored with 62 while Asad Shafiq (43) and Haris Sohail (38) were other contributors, helping Pakistan to a 72-run lead over New Zealand's first innings total of 153.
Trent Boult finished with 4-54 while debutant spinner Ajaz Patel and medium pacer Colin de Grandhomme took two wickets apiece.
