India set an imposing victory target of 376 for Sri Lanka

Colombo, Sri Lanka: India set an imposing victory target of 376 for Sri Lanka after Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth One-day International on Thursday.

The Indian captain came up with a rollicking 131 off 96 balls and studded with 18 boundaries and two sixes. He was ably supported by opening batsman Rohit Sharma, who also scored 104 off 88 deliveries including 11 fours and three sixes.

Manish Pandey and Mahendra Singh Dhoni remained not out on 50 and 49 respectively as India scored 375 for five in the stipulated 50 overs.

The visitors, who have already taken an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the five-match series, handed an ODI cap to paceman Shardul Thakur for the day-night game.

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Pandey also made it into an India side in top form, having swept the preceding Test series against Sri Lanka 3-0.

“I couldn't have asked for anything better. It's about being ruthless. We don't want to take the foot off the pedal," said Kohli.

Sri Lanka made three changes to their side, bringing in Hasaranga de Silva as well as debutants Dilshan Munaweera and Malinda Pushpakumara.
