Gulf Lights Cricket Tournament from Friday

Doha: The Gulf Lights Cricket Tournament 2018, organised by the Qatar Veterans’ Cricket League, will start of Friday.

The softball tournament, sponsored by Gulf Lights Electrical Engineering WLL, has 10 teams fighting for honours in Division 1, while Division 2 comprises 13 sides. The finals of both divisions will be held by the end of April.

The teams in Division 1 are further divided into two pools. Pool A comprises, Hanan XII, Alliance, M Pallonji, Wellon CC and Jaidah Motors while Asian Cricket Club, CCRC, Talib XII, McDonald's and Al Jazeera Media Network are in Pool B.

Division 2, meanwhile, will have three pools.

QVC, Rapidrop, Ceylone Warriors, Al Zaman Exchange and Al Fardan are in Pool A, MIC,  Lovely Littles, Engg.Supplies and Mitra Mandal in Pool B and Mumbai XII, Serandeep B, Gulf Lights and GC Stars in Pool C.

All matches will be played at the Losail Cricket Complex on Fridays.
