Clutch Team win Aspire tourney

CLUTCH Team emerged as the champions at the Aspire Open League, beating Tunisia Team 68-39 in the final at the Aspire Dome last week. Dub City defeated LKZ Warriors 33-32 to finish third.

The eight-team league offered amateur players aged 17 and above an opportunity to practise the sport in a competitive environment.

Clutch Team captain A Ahmed said, “We played really well as a team and put up an all-round performance. Our players were taller and stronger, and that made it a lot easier for us to score many points. Special thanks to Aspire, which organised this tournament.”
