Qatar qualify for 3×3 U18 Basketball World Cup quarterfinals

Budapest (Hungary): Qatar team booked a place in the quarterfinals of the 3×3 U18 Basketball World Cup, which is being held over five days in Hungary.

The competition conclude on Sunday.

The team, consisting of Azzam Abuisneenah, Fahd Mohammed Al Ojan, Hamad Yassin and Moustapha Ndao, qualified for the quarterfinals after their victory on Saturday over Tunisia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the last two rounds of the group stage.

In the quarterfinals today, Qatar will meet with France, and the German team will face their Egyptian counterpart. (QNA)
