LeBron not answering questions on future after Lakers’ exit

LOS ANGELES: LeBron James kept his future plans under wraps following the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff elimination at the hands of the Denver Nuggets.

Despite a stellar performance with 30 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds, James couldn’t prevent the Lakers from succumbing to a 108-106 defeat, marking the end of their postseason journey.

Questions about James’ next move dominated the post-game press conference, but the 39-year-old remained tight-lipped. When asked if it could be his final appearance in a Lakers uniform, James replied with a smile, “I’m not going to answer that.”

Reflecting on his priorities, James emphasized his focus on family, indicating that his immediate plans revolved around spending time with loved ones. “I just want to get home to the family honestly,” he said, highlighting his children’s activities and his wife’s endeavors as factors influencing his decision-making.

As for his son’s potential basketball career, James downplayed the idea of playing alongside him, emphasizing that Bronny James would make his own choices about his future in the sport.

Teammate Anthony Davis expressed support for James, acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding his decision. “I’ll be right there supporting him whatever he decides to do,” Davis stated, emphasizing the importance of James’s family considerations.
