Jackson Jr. leads Grizzlies past Bucks with 37-point explosion

WISCONSIN: Jaren Jackson Jr. dazzled from beyond the arc, sinking seven 3-pointers and scoring 37 points to power the visiting Memphis Grizzlies to a 132-119 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night. The win marked Memphis’ seventh consecutive triumph over Milwaukee and their eighth in the last nine meetings.

Desmond Bane contributed 22 points, while Santi Aldama added 23 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies, who played without Ja Morant (shoulder) for the second straight game.

Milwaukee was led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who tallied 30 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Khris Middleton chipped in 20 points off the bench, while Damian Lillard struggled with his shot, finishing with 15 points on 4-for-15 shooting.

The game saw 10 lead changes in the opening quarter as Memphis built a narrow 31-28 advantage. Despite an 11-0 Grizzlies run in the second period, the Bucks reclaimed a 58-56 halftime lead. However, Memphis pulled away in the second half, maintaining control to secure the win.

The loss continued Milwaukee’s recent struggles, with four defeats in their last five games after a strong eight-win stretch.
