Doha Tours 3×3 basketball tournament continues, runs until march 13
DOHA: The second edition of the Doha Tours 3×3 basketball tournament continued on Sunday and is set to run until March 13. Organized by Fame Sports Academy under the supervision of the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF), the tournament is dedicated to Ramadan and features eight teams in both boys’ and girls’ categories for U16 and U21 age groups.
The event provides young players with a valuable platform to enhance their skills and compete in a dynamic atmosphere that contributes to the overall development of basketball in Qatar.
Adding to the tournament’s significance, former Qatar national team player and 3×3 world champion Captain Yassin Ismail is conducting orientation sessions for participants. His expertise helps young athletes understand key basketball techniques and strategies, offering them a unique learning experience.
Fame Sports Academy aims to further promote 3×3 basketball in Qatar, nurturing young talents and preparing them for high-level competitions in the future.(QNA)
