Basketball League for men starts today

DOHA: The first division matches of the men’s basketball league for the 2024-2025 sports season will start today.

The opening round of matches will feature Al Ahli vs Al Khor, followed by the match between Al Gharafa and Al Sadd.

The first division matches will conclude next Thursday with two additional contests: Al Rayyan will face Al Shamal, while Al Wakrah will take on Qatar Club.

The Qatar Basketball Federation issued the matches schedule for the new sports season with controls and standards that take into account the great professional shift in basketball in Qatar, which will host the World Cup in 2027.
