Amir Cup Basketball to start on April 15
DOHA: The Qatar Basketball Federation has announced the complete program for the Amir Cup Men’s Basketball Championship for the 2025–2026 sports season.
This prestigious tournament is considered one of the most prominent and competitive local basketball events in Qatar, distinguished by its unique competitive spirit as elite clubs battle directly for a coveted title that concludes the sporting season.
The current edition of the tournament enjoys significant attention from clubs and fans alike, given the close technical levels among the participating teams.
This raises expectations for strong competition from the early rounds through to the final, especially with the involvement of clubs that boast rich histories in the sport and feature prominent names in Qatari basketball.
The tournament is set to begin on Wednesday with the opening match between Qatar Club and Al Khor at 6:05 p.m. at the Federation Hall.
