Kuwait: Qatar’s padel team won the gold medal in the 3rd GCC Games Kuwait 2022, after beating its Kuwait 3-0 on Saturday.
On the other hand, Qatari handball team beat Kuwait 24-23 in its third match.
The Qatari team raised its points to six points to lead the table. They will face Bahrain on Tuesday in their last group game that will decide the winner.
Meanwhile, Qatar women’s basketball team won two wins at the GCC Games.
Qatar defeated Oman 16-12 and Kuwait 12-10. However, the team lost to Bahrain 8-6 and Saudi Arabia 13-11 respectively.
The 3rd GCC Games Kuwait kicked off on May 16 with the participation of nearly 1,700 male and female athletes from six Gulf countries competing in 16 different sports.
