Qatar hosts FIG Trampoline Technical Committee meeting
DOHA: In a further affirmation of its global standing in hosting major sporting events, the Qatar Gymnastics Federation is currently hosting the FIG Trampoline Technical Committee meeting.
The meeting will conclude tomorrow (December 9).
The meeting feature leading experts in the sport and trampoline development officials from around the world.
The hosting of this meeting reflects the growing confidence the FIG places in Qatar, given its world-class infrastructure and state-of-the-art sports facilities, as well as its distinguished track record in hosting international championships, training camps, and meetings.
This has solidified Doha’s position as a global sports capital.
During the meeting, the committee will discuss the latest updates to the judging rules for trampoline, evaluate past world championships, review preparations for upcoming events, and propose a range of development initiatives aimed at enhancing the technical and judging standards of the sport.
Trampoline sports encompass three main disciplines that will be among the topics discussed at the meeting:
- Trampoline
- Double Mini Trampoline
- Tumble-ups
Committee members praised the facilities provided by the Qatar Gymnastics Federation and its high level of professionalism in organizing such important technical meetings.
