Ooredoo Cup final on October 10

Doha, Qatar: Ooredoo Cup final against Al Arabi and Al Sadd will be held on October 10th, the Qatar Stars League announced on Thursday.

The match will be played at the Al Duhail Stadium with the kick-off at 6 pm. The date was finalised in agreement with the two teams and their coaches, and also taking into consideration Al Sadd’s participation in the 2020 AFC Champions League.

Al Arabi defeated Al Rayyan 2-1 in the semifinals while Al Sadd booked their final berth with a 2-0 victory against Al Ahli.

 Meanwhile, the draw for the 2020-21 Ooredoo Cup was also held and it pitted Al Duhail and Al Sadd in the same group.

Al Sailiya, Al Khor, Al Wakrah and Qatar SC will join the two powerhouses in Group A. Group B comprises Al Rayyan, Al Kharaitiyat, Al Gharafa, Umm Salal, Al Arabi and Al Ahli.

The first round matches will start on September 25 while the final will be held on March 30, 2021.
