Muhammad to contest for Al Khor presidential post

DOHA: Former Qatar Football Association member Muhammad Mubarak Al Muhannadi has decided to run in the Al Khor Club elections for the presidential seat.

Saqr Saeed Salem Al Muhannadi will be contesting as his deputy.

The election will take place at the sidelines of the General Assembly on July 20.

“I will submit the nomination as it is opened on June 15. I sought the opinion of the members and got a great response from them,” said Muhammad Mubarak.

“This is the most appropriate time to serve the club. A small part of the club’s preferences was mentioned, but if there is a person who can serve the club better than me to lead the club, I will not hesitate to back down. The main goal is to contribute to the club’s success.”
