Yemen Football Association thank QFA for support

Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Vic-President Saoud bin Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi received Yemen Football Association (YFA) delegates here on Wednesday.

Yemen qualified for the first time in the AFC Asian Cup after defeating Nepal 2-1 here at the Qatar Sports Club Stadium on Tuesday.

The delegation, who was here with the national team for the qualifiers, thanked QFA for their role in helping Yemeni football’s development.

Al Mohannadi received his counterpart Hasan Bachanvr, General Secretary Dr Hamid Al Shaibani and YFA Member of the Board of Directors Labib Al Mahdi.

“We thank Qatar for their ongoing support to develop the sport in our country,” said Bachanvr.
