‘We’ll fight till the end’

MUAITHER, who upset Al Khor 1-0 for their third successive win, will rely on hard work and team spirit to keep punching above their weight, according to Football Head Mubarak Ghanem.

“We’ll fight till the end of league. We’re aware how tough our journey will be, but our team is capable of overcoming it with hard work and team spirit,” Mubarak told www.qsl.com.qa.

“What we’ve achieved over the last three rounds is a proof of our determination and the good work we put in. I would like to acknowledge the efforts of our players as well as coach Phillipe Birol and his staff,” said the official.

Mubarak said they would approach Friday’s match against Al Rayyan with a positive mindset.

“Rayyan are the champions and have a lot of top-quality players. But we’ll put on a brave face. It’s going to be a tough task, but we’ve full confidence in our players,” added Mubarak.
