We have to work as a family, says new Qatar SC coach Wezam Rizik

Doha, Qatar: New Qatar SC coach Wezam Rizik expressed hope that this team could improve their level and said he was happy with the quality of their players.
Rizik took charge of Qatar SC on Monday after Carlos Alos Ferrer became the first coaching casualty.
The former Qatar captain said he was happy to be back as coach at Qatar SC.
“I have played in Qatar SC and I am happy to be back as a coach, thanks to the team management’s confidence in my abilities. I also thank coach Carlos Alos Ferrer for the services he did for the team,” said Rizik, whose side will take on Al Khor in the Qatar Stars League on Saturday.
“I hope we can take the team to a better level by making more efforts, by technical staff, players and team management.
“There will not be any changes to the squad at the moment. The team has good players. We have to work as a family to push the team to achieve victories. We will make appropriate changes later. Now, we will face Al Khor, who are a strong team. Let’s see how it goes.
“The game will be very difficult. Both teams are more or less in a milar situation. We will make every effort to beat Al Khor and achieve our first victory,” said Wesam.
Umm Salal will take on Al Wakrah in the only match on Thursday while Friday’s top-of-the-table clash between Al Arabi and Al Sadd was postponed owing to the opening of the IAAF World Athletics Championship in Doha.
In Saturday's other matches, Al Shahania take on Al Duhail, Al Ahli play Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa meet Al Sailiya.
