Umm Salal rope in Syrian winger

UMM Salal signed Syrian winger Mahmoud Al Mawas last week. The 23-year-old, who has played in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, replaced Tha’er Bawab after the Jordanian left by mutual agreement.

Umm Salal, had slipped to seventh last week following their 1-3 defeat against Al Arabi, and will expect Mahmoud to quickly find his footing as they look to get back to winning ways.
