Sheringham to coach Indian Super League side Atletico de Kolkata
Kolkata: Defending Indian Super League (ISL) champions Atletico de Kolkata (ATK) have bolstered their squad by replacing Jose Molina with former Manchester United star Teddy Sheringham as their head coach on Saturday.
The 51-year-old is one of the prominent Manchester United players, who equalised against Bayern Munich in a thrilling Champions League final in 1999.
United won 2-1 to complete a treble under Sir Alex Fergusson.
The addition of Sheringham in ATK can really work in the favour of the two-time league winners.
They have also signed former Bengaluru FC head coach Ashley Westwood as Director of Football. With these two big signings, ATK look strong enough to retain the title.
