SCDL announces sports photography contest

DOHA: As part of the build-up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SCDL) is organising a photography contest for public, with sports in the country as its theme.

The SCDL is looking at creative tell-tale pictures as entries, which close on November 10.

A panel of judges will decide the winners. Those who come first, second and third will receive cash awards of QR10,000, QR8,000 and QR5,000 respectively.

The winners will also have a better chance of being included in the second phase of the SCDL’s sports photography initiative.
