Roberto Carlos close to taking charge of Hilal?

DOHA: Brazilian Roberto Carlos is close to signing a two-year deal with Riyadh giants Al Hilal, Doha Stadium Plus has learnt.
Roberto Carlos, who quit as coach of Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos earlier this year, is likely to travel to Riyadh next week to conclude the negotiations and take charge on a deal worth 2 million Euro per season.
"Roberto is expected to meet the club president next week," a source said.
Hilal have been without a coach since they sacked Uruguayan Gustavo Matosas three weeks ago, less than three months after appointing him, citing his “strange technical decisions”.
The two-time AFC Champions League winners have been managed since then by caretaker Marius Ciprian.
Forty-three-year-old Roberto Carlos, who won the World Cup in 2002 in Japan and South Korea, is one of the best full-backs the game has ever seen.
He spent his illustrious career across nine clubs, including Real Madrid, who he represented in 370 games.
