QFA launches “Fakhr” volunteers programme

Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) honoured volunteers on the occasion of International Volunteer Day and also launched “Fakhr” Volunteers Programme.  

The International Volunteer Day, which will be celebrated on Tuesday, highlights the volunteers’ role have in making QFA’s matches and tournaments successful.

The QFA honored some of the volunteers, who have contributed significantly to the success of 2017 Emir’s Cup and 2016 Supercoppa.

“We celebrate the International Volunteer Day to appreciate the volunteers’ role in contributing to the success of QFA’s events. Honouring them is our social responsibility strategy and to show they are also an integral part,” said QFA Director of Marketing and Communications Khalid Al Kuwari.
