Neymar lands in Dubai

Doha: Barcelona striker Neymar landed in neighbouring Dubai, UAE, from Shaghai, China, after the player posted a video and pictures of himself and some friends eating together on his Instagram account.

Some media reports in Paris suggest he may not undergo a medical in Qatar this week as he cannot fly directly because of the Saudi-led blockade, but he could also still make his way via Oman and Kuwait.

Other reports said he will now return to Barcelona while Mundo Deportivo said he will fly to his native Brazil.

French newspaper L’Equipe reported on Tuesday that any medical tests are actually more likely to come later in the week in Paris, and possibly even next Monday.
