Jordan U23 beat Qatar U23 side 3-2 in friendly

DOHA: Qatar Olympic team lost to Jordan 3-2 in the second friendly match at Al Janoub Stadium on Thursday night.

The first game had ended in a 1-1 draw.

The friendlies are a part of the teams’ preparations for the AFC U-23 Cup that will be held in Uzbekistan from June 1.

Khaled Sayahin (18th minute), Amin Al Shanaina (25th) Omar Haniin (26th) scored for Jordan while Youssef Abdul Razzaq (23rd) and Hashem Ali (56th) netted for the hosts.

Qatar team will leave on Sunday for Tashkent to participate in the Asian Championship.

They are clubbed with Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in Group A.
