Hamroun out of Kharaitiyat match
AL SADD winger Jugurtha Hamroun returned to action against El Jaish after missing the last two matches against Umm Salal and Al Sailiya due to a muscle pull he sustained during their 5-0 win against Al Rayyan in the 10th round.
The Algerian replaced Hassan Al Haidous in the 72nd, but will miss the next game against Al Kharaitiyat after receiving his fourth yellow of the season.
Hamroun, who joined Sadd on loan from Romania’s Steaua Bucharest in the summer, had an incredible season so far. The 27-year-old was chosen as the club’s player of the month for November and caught everybody’s attention with energetic displays.
“Hamroun’s absence will be a blow. I always tell players to avoid cards. We can’t afford to miss anyone through suspension since we’re at the crucial stages in the QSL,” said coach Jesualdo Ferreira.
