Group B down to the wire with one quarter-final place up for grabs

DOHA: As the final round of Group B fixtures approaches at the FIFA Arab Cup™, two teams arrive with clarity — and two with everything still on the line. Saudi Arabia have already sealed their spot in the knockout stage, while debutants Comoros are out of contention. That leaves Morocco and Oman in a straight fight for the remaining quarter-final berth.
Morocco enter the decisive matchday with the advantage. A draw against the already-qualified Saudis in Lusail will be enough to push the Atlas Lions into the last eight. But any slip could turn the group on its head and give Oman a chance to snatch qualification.
For Carlos Queiroz’s Oman side, the equation is simple but demanding: beat Comoros — and potentially by a strong margin — to keep hopes alive. With both teams aware of what’s at stake, Group B promises a dramatic finish as the curtain comes down on the opening phase.
