Bosz named new coach of Dortmund

BERLIN, AFP: Dutchman Peter Bosz has been named as the new coach of Borussia Dortmund, the German giants announced on Tuesday.

"Peter Bosz is the new BVB Head Coach. Contract will last until 2019. Further info in a press conference this afternoon," Dortmund said on their English-language Twitter account.

The 53-year-old Dutchman took Ajax to an unsuccessful Europa League final against Manchester United last season, while finishing second in the Eredivisie.

Bosz will replace Thomas Tuchel, who left Dortmund last week despite winning the German Cup and finishing third in the Bundesliga.
