Barca’s Dembele to be treated at Aspetar
Doha, Qatar: Injured Barcelona star Osman Dembele will undergo treatment at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital where he will be under the supervision of an international team of experts.
Barcelona had confirmed on Friday that the French forward will miss the next 10 weeks after picking up a hamstring problem against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Dembele will also have rehab sessions back at Barcelona at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
The injury is Dembele's ninth of his short Barcelona career and means he will miss almost three months of the season and will not return until February.
A statement on the club's official website said: "The entire recovery program is being supervised and run by the FC Barcelona medical services. The initial forecast is that the player will be out of action for around 10 weeks."
